Today is
the day we start our haul across the mighty Nullabor. We are excited to be
finally here. Decide to stop at all road houses and keep the fuel tank full.
Stop at head of bite, spectacular views along the coast but unfortunately we
are a few weeks early for a Southern Right Whale sighting. They use this part
of the coast to rest and have their calves each year. Decide to drive all the
way to Border Village and eat any fruit and veg we have as it can’t be taken
across the border. Just before we get to Border Village Danny stops and takes a
photo of the sunset. The skies are just enormous out here. We get to the
roadhouse at about 7pm after a long day of driving.
