Drive,
Drive, Drive! That was the theme for today, plus angry old men! We have to wind
up the van to be searched at the quarantine station at the WA border and then
we are there- WESTERN AUSTRALIA. Danny rides from the border to Eucla about
15km’s, visit old Telegraph station, continue to stop at roadhouses and we
drive onto Balledonia Roadhouse arrive about 7.30 exhausted especially since
the one and half hour time difference. The Nullabor was fascinating, much
greener than I expected, cathartic and at one point, for about 150km’s more road
kill than I have ever witnessed before then it just stopped- bizarre.
